Flexible Spending
Account
According to IRS guidelines,
you may elect to have your employer deduct a portion of your paycheck and
deposit the money into one or both of these accounts. The money is deducted from your paycheck BEFORE TAXES ARE
PAID. The IRS treats this amount as if you never
earned that money (its “pretax” money, in financial jargon).
Medical, dental, and vision costs
you incur during the year may be reimbursed from your medical spending
account to a maximum of $2,500.
Daycare/babysitting expenses may be reimbursed from the dependent care
spending account to a maximum of $5,000.
Please forward completed claims
forms and/or enrollment forms to:
Dixie Weaver, 65
Billerbeck Street, New Oxford, PA 17350. If you have any questions/concerns feel
free to contact Dixie at 624-6492 or dlweaver@iu12.org.
